Well, here we are, the first day of business

Today marks the first day of the actual games, gone with the prep, we want to see money roll 🪙.

I shan't lie, so, here is the truth. The games here in Germany are a bit chaotic and we're all a bit confused on what's what. According to our teachers, stuff works vastly different in The Netherlands then it does here in Germany. Example; to get stock for our website and reselling purposes, we buy at the wholesaler. (So far, all the same for all participating schools), but, apparently, each school makes their own rules on how much discounts the wholesalers get to give. Another example; In The Netherlands, teams had to make a welcome video (eugh, happy I didn't have to), while we had to make a flyer (yay). In the Netherlands they have to think about legal stuffs, we don't (?). I'm still a bit confused, woops.

Each school has a different catalogue from the wholesaler (good!), so we don't end up with the same products, cause that'd be useless.

So, after my lament, what did we do today?

I'm glad you asked!

  • We weren't getting any quotes, so I checked our selling prices, and recalculated that, since we were selling with a margin of ~ 164% , (someone put a printer on our website for €10.794,53, what a steal!)
  • I ordered some stock ( I spend €35.867,52 on ordering stock, we have €50.000 as our starting budget, oops 😋);
  • Since Germany is Selling to Denmark, I send all of their stores our flyer and, well, advertised our cheap store.

We didn't do business today :) .

Lets see what tomorrow shall bring!
