Day 11 – Wednesday, 26th
This day went really well.
At 7:00 AM, I woke up, got dressed, and took a shower.
At 7:45 AM, we went downstairs for breakfast.
I’m starting to notice that I can eat more, but my stomach is still pretty sensitive. So, I stick to fruit and two croissants.
At 8:20 AM, we took the bus and arrived at 9:00 AM, as usual.
A Successful Day
Today, we made bank.
Using all the techniques we had learned over the last two days, and taking advantage of the fact that people were finalizing their office designs, we received mass orders from our Hungarian customers.
I’m talking 5 to 10 orders totaling thousands of euros.
By the end of the day, our bank statement showed over €60,000.
It was safe to say we were one of the best-performing businesses in the program.
Evening Surprise
At the end of the day, we were surprised to learn that we would be going bowling at a fun center in the city—one I hadn’t seen before.
We played 2.5 games.
I won the first game with a total of 95 points (see photo), followed by my teammate Carlo with 90 points.
Then, I switched groups, which was what everyone was supposed to do, but in the end, no one else did.
I joined the best-performing group—only to lose all my skill instantly, scoring just around 60 points by the end of the game.
The last game wasn’t finished due to time restrictions, but it was still fun throwing the ball around.
A Thoughtful Gesture
After bowling, my classmates and I received a compliment from our German teacher, Dirk. Since he had been so kind to us, we decided to buy him and his colleague a small gift to show our appreciation.
We got them two cards, chocolates, and other sweets.
We planned to give them the gifts the next day.
Dinner & Final Thoughts
We also bought dinner together at the mall and ate (somewhat) as a group.
I took the leftovers to my room and ate what I could, given my irritable stomach.
Today’s Rating: 8.5/10
A fun day with great results!
